Resin Bond Diamond (RBD) or Russian Black Diamond is a type of bond used in the manufacture of diamond abrasives. In RBD, diamond particles are bonded together using a resin matrix, which is usually made of synthetic materials such as phenolic resins, polyimides, or polyamide-imides. Resin Bond Diamond Powder has a polycrystalline diamond grain, Is Composed of sub-crystals with mosaic structure that provides irregular shape & rough surface to keep consistency of selfsharpening and cutting edges, it is mainly used in resin bond diamond grinding wheels, lapping pads and polishing pads. The resin bond provides a uniform and stable structure that holds the diamond particles together, allowing for consistent and controlled cutting performance during the grinding and polishing process.
Usage: Tungsten carbide cutting and milling tools, dies, ceramic porcelain, silicon carbide, glass.
